GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIC PEPPERMINT OIL
Peppermint contains a lot of essential oil and up to 60 percent menthol. The menthol gives the organic peppermint oil its typical fresh mint scent. It is also used in toothpaste and mouthwash. Organic peppermint oil can have a stimulating effect on our nerves.This means it can help you to think clearly, strengthen your memory and sharpen your concentration.
Organic peppermint oil has cooling properties. It is often added to massage oils and used as a rub-in before sports. It is said to activate the mind and body.
English seafarers used organic peppermint oil to preserve water on their long voyages. Of course, organic peppermint oil also has a place in aromatic cuisine for flavoring dishes. The digestive benefits of peppermint were already known to the ancient Greeks and Romans. Peppermint oil is well tolerated when used properly.
